Joey's Christmas Gift

Well, I bought a nice filofax for Joey for her Christmas gift but typically it got cocked up in the delivery stage. So I had to go get some more presents. While walking around in the village high street, I noticed this sign on a window Very amusing and thought of sharing with you.

The Caretaker's cottage

The school caretaker's cottage is a dream house, lovely little cottage and they go absolutely overboard with Christmas decorations every year. So when I went to see Diya's nativity play, I took some photo's.

Setting up the Christmas Tree

Well, I have been planning to set this tree up for 6 days now, but between my family's shopping propensity, Christmas parties, and and and, we finally managed to do it last Friday. All the kids were involved in the process and a fun time was had with all. Here's the photographic evidence of that fun filled night!

We have an artificial tree as real trees dont seem to agree with the kids asthma. So every year, we have this small tradition that Karn and I setup the tree while Diya manages to gambol around our feet and wanting to do everything and tell us what to do and generally break ornaments and the lot. We are slowly losing all our glass ornaments and moving to wooden ones! :)

She also brings all her Christmas soft toys, such as a polar bear, a harp seal, furry Christmas trees, snow domes and decorates the living room.

This was perhaps one of the most nerve wracking as well as happiest times! :)
