Yellow River

I am not very sure that I like the idea of a yellow river as the name of my local Chinese takeaway..

The Yellow River is a harsh unforgiving river, frequently flooding and is therefore known as China’s sorrow or the Scourge of the sons of Han. So it does take away Chinese (if you excuse the pun!). Usually rivers are considered to be nice and benevolent, but this river in particular has a very virulent history. This river’s dragon has awoken and is very upset.
