While it was still nippy, we decided to go off to check one of the few sandy beaches in Cornwall. This beach is famous for its surfing activities but bloody hell, it was seriously windy and cold. So the aged P’s were nicely deposited in a cafe overlooking the beach with some hot drinks while we decided to take off on an trip up the beach.
billions of blue blistering barnacles and mussels
sheets and sheets of the stuff
Rock pools with wind swept water and smooth rocks.
And the surf comes rolling in.
the runnels of water running down the beach, creating temporary channels.

Pristine sand, sentinels of stone and folds of stone.
the sprogs
Rock Rows
Dome shaped rocks. Lovely curves
Looks like the fat lady is sleeping…
More cliffs with tilted sandstone rock beds
That’s a giant receiver.
Very cold but people are still playing cricket on the beach. Here is the slideshow if you wanted to see more photographs.
