We finished the viewing of the main hangar and then walked across to the green to the Battle of Britian exhibit. But before that, there are some bits of interest outside in the green and parking areas. Only four major pieces here, a Hurricane, a Spitfire, a Hunter and a missile unit. Beautiful stuff.
I wanted to write Achtung Spitfire based upon all the commando and biggles books I had read but curiously the Germans never said, Achtung Hurricane. Just doesn't have the same cachet, does it?
