Some photo-essays on subjects which caught my attention while shambling around the world.
If you wanted to use any photographs for your own or commercial purposes, by all means, go ahead, but please just ask me first, I have never said no before :)

Aug 2012: Cycling through forests and alongside canals
This set of photographs relates to my 6 hour ride through northwest London.
Passing a dried up stream bed
Just a little bit of water left
The other side of the stream
Riding up the Ebury Way
See? lovely ride
Quite a view eh?
That’s where I need to go
Lovely green stuff
One day I will pop over here and try to fish
An old tree, covering the bridge supports..
I head off again
Reach this little place with a tiny slip dam
The entire route is interspersed with tiny bridges.
Then moved over to the bridge and there was a canal with a lock.
The canal lock doors could do with a clean.
Man, that boat can also do with a clean
Opening up the lock
Ok, the water has filled up now
Now closing the lock gates
Pushing on both sides
Heading over to the other side
The water boils up
Leaving the lock
Another lock down the road
Reaching a cross roads,
Crossing over the canal
Barges used to be pulled by dray horses..no longer of course.
One day I will go up there…
Now you see why I love riding here? Its beautiful.
This is some kind of canoeing sporting place…
Finishing the ride and looking back at the canal. What a lovely ride this was…then I headed back home.
