I came out of the Canary Wharf tube station and noticed this long low silhouette.
Popped over and saw this amazing car

This is the Bloodhound SSC which is aiming to break the Land Speed Record by hitting 1000 mph, 1.4mach.

The business end of the car, I guess it would be a bit toasty when its going…There are plans to have three engins, a Jet Engine, then a Hybrid Rocket and then a race car engine. 
The jet engine to take it to 300mph, then the rocket kicks into take it to 1050mph while the race car engine is used as a fuel pump, lol. Of course it doesn't have the engines in there right now or the electronics, its just a shell, but makes one proud, eh? good for them…
